Brief Background
The Parish of St Barnabas the Apostle is under the auspices of Metropolitan Archbishop Paul (Saliba), Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and New Zealand, and has been shepherded by Rev. Fr Raymond Smith from it's 1994 inception to the present day.
All services are done in the English language.

Sunday mornings: The Chapel, 18 Tonga Place, Parkwood.
Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom, beginning at 8am (ending at approximately 9:30am).
During Lent, this is replaced by the mostly-similar Divine Liturgy of St Basil the Great
Also, a Calendar is available, which is more comprehensive, containing saint's days and fasting days.
Parish Organisations
The Ladies Auxiliary meets on the First Wednesday of every month (except January). For more details, please call the parish on (07) 5573 7977.
The Parish of St Barnabas utilises congregational singing, and has a brief music practise for approximately five minutes immediately before the Divine Liturgy on Sundays. We are currently practising the music used around Holy Week, and all are invited to practise with us.
