16 December, 2007: On this day, we celebrated the thirteenth anniversary of the Chrismations that began the Parish of St Barnabas the Apostle in 1994. The photos of this celebration can be seen via its page in our Photo Gallery.

23 December, 2007: A number of photos of parish life were taken for this website during the Sunday morning Divine Liturgy; these can be viewed via its page in the photo gallery.
25 December, 2007: Divine Liturgy for the Nativity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was held at Villa la Salle at 7am. A common greeting amongst Orthodox Christians between Christmas and Theophany (6/Jan) is 'Christ is Born!' with the response being 'Glorify Him!'.
6 January, 2008: The Feast of the Theophany (the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by St John the Baptist) was celebrated on Sunday the 6th of January at the Chapel in Parkwood with the Divine Liturgy followed by the Great Blessing of the Waters. A common greeting amongst Orthodox Christians after Theophany is 'Christ is Baptised!' with the response being 'In the Jordan!'.
Additionally, Fr Raymond has written an article inspired by the blessing of houses that follows this feastday.
From 7 January, 2008: With the water blessed during the Great Blessing of the Waters at Theophany, Fr Raymond blessed the houses of his parishioners .
3 February, 2008: During the Divine Liturgy, a brief talk was given during the Divine Liturgy by Andrew Smith on what he is doing in and for the parish. At the same Liturgy, new music for Communion was unveiled and used in the Divine Liturgy.
